Day 5 holds many possibilities. Here are our favorite four picks.
The Full Table
Tuesday, November 10, 3-8pm
On Tuesday, Grantville’s Benchmark Brewing Co. takes their most sessionable Belgian and spins 12 variations on it. Their Table Beer is an everyday drinking beer (especially if you’re a Trappist monk), citrusy and peppery with a 4% ABV. The variations will be offered in three flights of 4: The Brewer’s Collection, The Brussels Collection, and The Botanical Collection. Full pints of the template beer will be available with a keeper glass. Nanas Heavenly Hot Dogs will be the food truck in court.
Quesoveza: A Cheese and Beer Odyssey
Tuesday, November 10, 4-7pm
Cheese is an organic partner with beer and Sorrento Valley’s Wine Sellar & Brasserie has a doozie of a tasting for you. The $20 tasting features Duck Foot Brewing Company, Iron Fist Brewing Co., Helm’s Brewing Co., Saint Archer Brewery, Golden Coast Mead, Lost Abbey/Port Brewing, Helix Brewing Co. and New English Brewing Company. Each brewery will be paired with an artisanal cheese with oils, vinegars, and freshly baked breads from local companies.
Sculpin’ 4-Ways with Ballast Point
Tuesday, November 10, 6pm-12am
At the new Oceanside location of Barrel Republic you continue to pour the beer and they will make the food. Ballast Point will be in the house tonight with four variations of their iconic Sculpin’ IPA: Nitro, Grapefruit, Pineapple, and Mango. In addition Watermelon Dorado IIPA & Orange and Vanilla Fathom IPL will be on tap. Load up a card at the register, wave it in front of any of 48 taps and fill or taste to your heart’s desire. Ballast Point representative, Derek Killerman, will be there to talk about all of them.
